This current body of work was produced after completing my BFA and during my transition from Arizona to Portland, OR. These pieces are antagonistic toward viewers and indulgent for the artist. These canvases became a symbolic dumping ground and I invite viewers to sift through and make their own discoveries.
The pieces below were completed as academic endeavors and express a wide range of interests through their imagery and how the materials were used. Subject matter includes religion, exploitation, pop culture, and current events.
